Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab

Location: Irchel Campus, Building 42, Floor F, Room 42

The Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab is a joint facility of the Division of Gross Anatomy (Institute of Anatomy) and the Institute of Evolutionary Medicine (IEM).

The Skills Lab’s main goal is to offer an environment where clinics, surgeons and doctors can gain access to the Institute of Anatomy’s body donations in a controlled environment and where they can establish new surgery protocols, attend postgraduate education in clinical anatomy or perform research.

The technical personnel of the macroscopy section is preparing body preparations in a quality nearly free of immission. With methods of conservation developed especially for this purpose and various injected resins, we can offer structures for simulations that are completely flexible and supple.

The Skills lab is accessible for 24 hours every day and can be booked via the Institute of Anatomy.
